Archeology: This is not a perfect guide, but I will try to make it easy.

If one only have ONE character, you might want to focus colors for the better ones, however, I am far too lazy (noseblee) and also have my alts so using any color works fine.

Archeology Levelling!!!

Currently there are only two Refining levels that are in the game: Fishing and Archeology
By compeleting your digs you level up your archeology. There are 10 levels in total for the archeology. Each level gives the player a bonus that can help their archeology or even their stats.



The EXP from digging gives a variety of EXP and as you level up lower colors will stop giving you EXP.



The levels' bonuses are:

2: Slightly reduces the chance of finding white archaeology items
3: DMG + 840
4: Archeology Prices decreased by 2%
5: Slightly reduces the chance of finding white archaeology items
6: ACC + 1%
7: The chance of identifying Flawless items and Treasure Pieces increases
8: Archeology Prices decreased by 3%
9: The chance to identify legacy items increases
10: Max HP + 1675

Also as you level up you'll unlock the more advanced archaeology shops. The leveled shops are only from the Navea vendor where you trade in treasure pieces so it's worth looking into.

Keep in mind, the leveling isn't just from straight digging, you have a special leveling requirement at levels 3, 6, and 10. In addition as you level up relics will stop giving you EXP based on their type.

Level requirements:

To get Rank 3 : Dig 10 of each relics on maps prior to Blizzard Berg
To get Rank 6 : Dig 100 of each relics on maps prior to Blizzard Berg
To get Rank 10: Dig 100 of all relics

EXP gain:

1-2 : All relics
3-4 : All relics other than damage (the wrong color identified)
5-7 : All relics other than damage (Rainmist Reach and above)
8-10: High quality relics (Rainmist Reach and above), treasure map pieces, and maybe WoTA/Mud-Covered items.

NOTE:You can actually dig the 100 relics of any type really easily. If you intentionally get the wrong colors, although they are damaged and really kinda inefficient, it counts towards the 100 relics so you can guarantee yourself 100 of a type every day if you really need to.
